Char siu literally means "fork roasted" (siu being burn/roast and cha being fork, both noun and verb)

  17. the noodles at the first place look delicious. me likey. the noodle in san diego is just disappointing. looks like a driving trip from san diego to san franc is in order.

ย the pho place, "ha nam ninh" . i believe it's a city in north vietnam. the dry pho version looks like another noodle type in nam called hu tieu. in fact, after looking at the ingredients, i think it's hu tieu and not pho but i am no expert.

  23. I can vouch for all these noodle houses being great since I live in San Francisco. I've been to all of them and more many times. Too bad I didn't know you were back here TJ I would love to help out with your production next time. My favorite is Marugame Udon of these 4 but there are tons of great noodle houses in this great city.

  25. Hello
Love your videos but just one correction for this one. There's no such thing as dry pho. It's dry noodles that you're eating called Hu Tieu Kho
